Sending right message at the right time

Thanks friends for your thoughts. Really appreciate it. I am now at the roadside of Utara Barat Highway, on our way back to Kelantan. We are suppose to be at Langkawi at the moment for vacationa, we had make reservation for this trip since october. However we change our plan in respect to our beloved sister who just left us last sunday. Al-fatihah. We were at Klate last Sunday and will be there again by tomorrow - exactly 1 week :).

To some people, our take may not making any sense as they believe 'life must go on'. Yes we do agree with that too. However, it is very important to send a right message at the right time to our love ones, especially our kids. It is very important to have the kids understand about 'family value'. At this point of time Tok Ayah and Tok Che need support from us. Last year we just lost Mama Ti and this year Shuma follow through. It's just not right to leave Tok Ayah and Tok Che alone.

Apart from formal learning we know that children lean through observation and experience. And they will apply the same method in their life sooner or later. So, as a parents let's becareful with every single actions we do and plan to do as we have to remember the cycle will flow and one day will be our turn.

That's all for now. My hubby just wake up and we have to continue our journey.

Tentang EMAK MERAH

I accidently went to this blog last month and for me it is an amazing blog. Which blog i am referring too ... here you go http://redmummy.com/. I encourage you all to visit and there are many things that we can learn from Emak Merah.
Why i said it's amazing ? I have hundreds reason to say so but here below are the most significant for me:

• The RM blog is a testimonial of barakah (berkat) from parents, hubby and children to the lovely daughter, menantu, wife and mama. Why so? RM is not only about the individual name Emak Merah, but it is about Emak Merah that come together in a package of wonderful ordinary family.

• The RM blog orchestrated that normal human being aka normal lady aka normal wifey aka normal mommy can become extraordinary person by doing things in extraordinary way. (ni ayat motivasi saya to students + anak yatim in my charity work).

• The RM blog is a proven result of "Mission Possible" ... successful person find ways, failure find excuses!

Yeay! I am back!

Salam kawan2 bloggers semua. I feel like so many years leaving this blog bersawang. How's everyone? Things just turn crazy lately and I leave no choice terpaksa membiarkan blog ini bersawang. And again, when i feel like having time for blogging, my little ultra irsyad is now hospitalize at KPJ Specialist Hospital kat Bandar Perda. Well, di sebabkan hati yang meluap2 nak say hi jugak to my fellow bloggers fren...i manage to force myself to jenguk jugak. Yeay!

I had a very meaningful Ramadhan this year comparing all those previous Ramadhans. This round, with peers from the company i am working for and NGO Wargakilang...we managed to touch many hearts and share what Allah swt give us more with those underprivileged folks. Terlalu panjang untuk saya kongsi dalam masa yang singkat ini. I will try to find one fine moment and share. May be tonite at the hospital while my little ultra irsyad sleep...let us see how.

It has been very tight for the past few weeks @ office in preparation for vvip visit to my company that I am working with. Alhamdulillah it's over and the event ran very smooth. Laundry oh Laundry

I was really touched last nite when I came home and I saw a bunch of folded laundries on the floor at our hall. Terima kasih abe!..nanti kita pi dating kat Puncak Mutiara ok :).

Teramatlah touchingnya and really appreciate it. Punya lah banyak encik suami helped me out to fold the laundries. I went home late yesterday, was tight with work and then went to pick up the kids. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Ini lah buktinya....hehehe....

Quick Update on Raya Haji

Welcome back to all after hari raya holidays!

Very tight lately with work. However here are quick snapshots on hari raya haji. We celebrated hari raya haji at my mom's place in kedah and after solat jumaat we headed to klate. Surprisingly there were bunch of cars on the road heading to klate on hari raya day. It was our 1st time heading to klate on hari raya day itself.

Irdina seronok sekali wearing selendang. Thanks to Ciksu yang bertungkus lumus melayan. In the photo...all of us were ready to depart to Masjid Kg.Permatang Tok Dik for Solat Sunat Aidiladha.

Isyraf was so concerned about the moo-moo yang di ikat dekat pokok kelapa. Waiting for the korban turn. He alsmot cried concerning about the moo-moo. Isyraf...isyraf...macam-macam.

On the way to klate...nothing else...tengok movie, tengok movie, tengok movie. Cita apa? upin ipin, upin ipin, upin ipin. Who conquer? The little prince isyraf lah...the abang and the kakak so tension tak leh tengok other movies yang satu beg they all spared. Huhuhu....

Yang ni yang paling best. One of my favorite dishes kalu kelik klate. "Colek Macam2 Ada" that you can find at Stadium Sultan Muhamad, Kota Bharu. Colek or rojak ni tak guna fruits. But they use fish balls, crab cake, paru, daging, sosej etc - digoreng plus salad. Memang best!

Teramatlah seronoknya. I just received my perfume & lotion from a friend of mine who traveled to us recently. Baru RM140 satu set compare to harga kat sini RM300 plus. Syoknya kalau i yang pi sana...it's Xmas sales now. Million thanks to Nawal!

Perasan Cantik

Hari ini saya teramatlah perasan cantiknya. Sila jangan muntah .... hehehe...(pinjam ayat ina :))

Kenapa? Sebabnya saya memakai kasut baru mr.hubby beli. Seronot sungguh rasa hati. Dok sengih sampai telinga ni...hehehe...

Monday - apa yang saya buat setiap minggu

Chewah...ni nak share sikit tips on how to get yourself manage to cook for the family eventhough you are working. If there is a will, there is a way. Saya percaya pada kata2 ini.

Being a working mother I have to plan my daily activities nicely. I cook for my family everyday for breakfast and dinner. Pesan mak, air tangan isteri dan ibu pengikat kasih suami dan anak2. Jangan lupa selawat dan doa utk suami & anak2 waktu masak tu!

The other reason is my kids are all in Chinese school, thus I have to make sure they have eaten their breakfast at home and bring some bekal with them.

So, to simplify the cooking process especially after a tiring day at office....What I do every monday is membeli belah dekat Pasar Malam Taman Makmur after work - dekat saja dengan rumah saya. Why Monday? Sebabnya I really tak suka shopping benda2 basah ini di hari weekend sebabnya orang terlalu ramai. Monday normally my schedule tak pack sangat at office and i will go home early.

Back to the topic....Then, I will prepare everything for 1 week supply. While i am busy with the kitchen stuff, my hubby will normally play millionaire games with the kids. Kalau tidak...huru hara la kitchen itu sebab semuanya very helpful.

Sotong, udang, ayam dan ikan keli are the normal stuff that must be inside my fridge - favorite encik suami dan anak2. Semuanya mesti dipotong & basuh siap2. Bawang...mintak maaf lah yer...saya ni semuanya nak cepat...so I just use bawang besar sahaja. I will blend 1 kilo of bawang besar and 1 ringgit of cili kering and keep it inside the fridge. Done!

Hari Isnin, the family will have dinner outside sebab akan kelam kabut settlekan barang2 tadi. The rest of the day and sometimes during weekend i will cook simple menu dengan semua barang yang telah siap tersedia dalam fridge itu!

See...Tak susah pon nak masak untuk keluarga dan saya juga seorang yang selfmaid aka takdak maid la. Hendak seribu daya, tak hendak seribu alasan.

Sedih

Jumaat lepas kembalinya KakTi kerahmatullah. Semoga roh KakTi dicucuri rahmat. Kakti is my other half eldest sister. Paling sedih sebab Irsyad asyik sebut Mama Ti, Mama Ti, Mama Ti saja since balik from raya kat klate hari tu. Rupanya Mama Ti dah pergi.

Sekali lagi Allah swt berikan saya peluang untuk sama-sama memandi/kafankan jenazah. The 1st one was for arwah mek @ mak mertua. Betul pesan ayah, ”Tinggalkan lah jawatan demo di pejabat. Bawak lah diri sebagai hamba Allah swt @ manusia di mana saja”. Itu pesan ayah yang saya tak pernah lupa semenjak saya kawin with my other half 10 years ago.

Betapa maha hebatnya kita di dunia, kita akan kembali kepadaNya juga suatu hari. Jenazah kakti dikendalikan dengan penuh kasih sayang. Kami adik beradik duduk melunjur dan jenazah kakti di letakkan di ribaan kami adik beradik di kala jurumandi jenazah memandikan kakti. Betapa kerdilnya diri saya. Satu hari nanti akan tiba giliran saya. Bersediakah saya? Seterusnya tiba waktu kafan jenazah...sebak sungguh. Kami adik beradik cium kakti buat kali terakhirnya. Kerdilnya saya. Suatu hari akan tiba waktu saya juga. Bersediakah saya?

Solat jenazah...ramai sungguh jemaah solat jenazah di rumah kakti...300 helai kain pelikat pun tak cukup. Bagaimana giliran saya nanti? Adakah orang datang ? Kerdilnya saya.

It was a very hecthic day today. Penat gilos. I went for a charity program (will share with you on this later) and on my way back terserempak Skuad Era. hehehe...rezeki la. I managed to answer few questions posted by the Skuad Era. A friend of mine was the very very tension gilr because she was the one really want to get the tshirt but i got it. huhuhu. jangan marah fren.

Merdeka! Merdeka! Merdeka!

Celebrating Merdeka
Both I and hubby didn’t sleep after sahur. I accompanied hubby to complete his final semester assignment. Waited for Subuh and then layan movie sekejap just the 2 of us while the kids were sleeping.

Since this year Merdeka Day falls on Puasa Month we just stayed at home and watched the perarakan kemerdekaan together.
We bought small Jalur Gemilang for the kids and they were so excited especially Isyraf (2 yrs) & Irsyad (5yrs) when they saw so many Jalur Gemilang in the tv were the same as their’s.
It was so cute to see the 4 of them marching together as if they were part of the perarakan kemerdekaan in the tv . Hehehe…memang riuh!

Happy 52nd Merdeka Day to everyone!
We can live in peace no matter what color we are!

Wah! It was really a long day I felt yesterday. Tak laratnya. But the kids as usual, full of energy, recharging every single minutes. I wonder where they got that energy. Ibu dah ketaq lutut dah ni. We let them enjoy their mini pool at our garden. The abah monitor the kids while reviewing his assignment.

I was busy at our kitchen preparing kuih “cek mek” while my hubby overseeing the kid mandi. “Cek Mek” is my hubby’s favorite kelantanese traditional kuih. Tak pandai pun cook, nak makan family sendiri boleh ler. Hehehe.

After my “cek mek” mission accomplished we packed up and drove to Maktok’s house at Lahar Yooi, Tasek Gelugor. Bestnya berbuka…kari kepala ikan air tangan mak, sambal tempoyak, ulam raja, ikan merah goreng….phew!...memang meleleh.
